In Win10 :Go to Dienste/Services, find mcneel and disable the update service.
In Rhino7: Go to Eigenschaften/Properties in den Rhino Menu on the top left and change the updates/aktualisierungen services there too.
My version (also when I download the offline files and install the bootstrap.exe) it tells me the installer is corrupted because it’s incomplete. Any ideas?
Warning:Be sure to scan all the downloaded files with your Antivirus, and if there is a executable or installer file, make sure to have your antivirus active and open in the background while installing or running the installed app. Some of the materials posted here are grabbed from CGPeers, so it could potentially have something injected in them because torrent's users system might be infected.

Not working on windows, keep asking for a valid license (firewall on etc.) Like previous rhino 7 version on cg

Did it but after 3-4 time, still asking for license. Anyway, thanks for the help
before installing, choose “only on this computer, download the offline files, put in the key, presss activate, and that should be it .
Where do I get the key? Really sorry, but don’t found it…

Install Rhinoceros 7
– Set firewall rule (Deny both ways) for Rhino.exe (C:\Program Files\Rhino 7\System)

Here’s what I did to get it to work for:
Rhinoceros 7.4.21067.13001 Win x64
***If Windows blocks download (appears as ‘virus’)***
1. Open Windows Securtiy, click ‘Virus & threat protection’ tab on left
2. Turn off ‘Real-time protection’
3. Download file again, and then add the file as an exemption (in windows security).
4. Extract Files.
4. Return to Windows Securtiy, Turn on ‘Real-time protection’
***Run Install***
1. Run install file
2. Click Gear Icon
3. Run ‘Rhino Activator’ File
4. Enter license key manually into the installer, then hit ‘Activate Button’ in Rhino Activator app
5. Finish Install
***Block ingoing and outgoing connections in Firewall***
1. Hit start menu and type run.
2. Enter ‘WF.msc’ hit ok
3. Click on Inbound Rules, then ‘New Rule’ and add Rhino.exe file
4. Do the same for Outbound Rules
